We're teaching our amazing cat Wellington to walk with a harness and leash (both of which we bought today), because he seems like the kinda guy who'd be into backyard strolling. I'll go into more detail about this later, and provide updates on his progress, but first check out these informative Youtube videos...who knew catwalking was such serious business? I guess I have to stock up on a black leather harness and a badminton racket.

Welcome to Laganland! This blog is a repository for all the random things I find on the internet. I was originally going to name it Flotsam & Jetsam, or some variation of that, when I discovered their forgotten sibling, lagan. Turns out that lagan is really the term I wanted anyways: dating from 1641, lagan is defined as "goods thrown into the sea with a buoy attached so that they may be found again." Excellent!

And, what better way to start off than with this story from today about the oldest drinkable champagne ever found.
